Blackwell’s Corner, California
W. M. Lyles Co. (WML) was the Design-Builder of this project which replaced the remaining portions of the existing 50 year old domestic steel water pipeline that had become a major maintenance problem for the District. Four new pipeline segments that contained a total of 63,700 LF of 4″ and 6″ PVC pipe were installed, along with bored crossing of Highway 33, two pressure reducing stations, and a metering facility. Additionally, the existing domestic water pump station was replaced with new pumps, piping, electrical and controls.
